Richard moved to Australia in 2023 seeking adventure after a 30-year career building one of the UK’s most successful independent salons, and Wink is privileged to partner with him.

His salon won the prestigious "Salon of the Year" at the British Hairdressing Business Awards, and he has competed at the top echelons of hairdressing for decades.

Richard is passionate about creating personalized looks for his clients, focusing on an incredible customer experience. He has also spent 20 years as an industry educator, working with brands such as L’Oreal, Wella, and Paul Mitchell.

Having been with the salon for 15 years, Amanda has emerged as one of the industry’s most talented colourists, working exclusively with award-winning educators.

Her technical skills, attention to detail, and passion have earned her a cult following and the position of Creative Colour Director.

Amanda’s colour ethos prioritizes suitability while encouraging creative thinking, continually seeking new ways to blend shade and technique for a ‘wow’ factor. She specializes in classic foiling, corrective colour, and lived-in colour.

Although hair fashions and styles change every year, Renato believes his role remains constant. Using his creative flair and technical skills, he ensures you look your best by tailoring/personalising your haircut, colour and style to suit you and your lifestyle.

Trained by some of the biggest names in the industry, he prides himself on offering the highest professional service, recommendations and tailored advice that our industry has to offer –all with a smile and infectious energy and enthusiasm!

Trained exclusively under the watchful eyes of Wink’s creative directors, Maria has been with us for an amazing 15 years. Her work is detailed and meticulous beyond her time. Maria’s 1st love and focus was in precision cutting and textured hair, however, her love of colour soon followed and she is renowned for adding bespoke colour to accentuate your haircut and features

Anna fell in love with hairdressing 20 years ago, cultivating her amazing technical skills under the guidance of one of Singapore’s most prestigious and iconic salons. From here, Anna’s career took her to the UK, Stockholm and Sydney, styling the tresses of television personalities and presenters, as well as magazine work.

Anna credits her success to strong fundamentals in both colouring and hair cutting, but more so the customisation of her work. It doesn’t matter how amazing my colour or haircut is if it’s not on the right person. “Understanding the importance of aesthetics ensures that my work will complement my client’s facial features, face shape, bone structure, complexion, and their personal style”.

Originally hailing from the UK Maddie has been at the top of her game for 15 years. She moved to Sydney in pursuit of new opportunities to further her career, and with a bit of luck (for us), ended up on our doorstep. Maddie thrives on giving every client an amazing salon experience.

Her attention to detail and eye for suitability, as well as her professional approach, has won her an allegiance of loyal clients. She loves nothing more than creating outstanding colours that work in harmony with beautiful cuts. Maddie is a specialist in high fashion colouring, creative colour, foiling and precision men’s and women’s cutting.

Hailing from Brazil, Alanna was originally a fashion designer; however, later turned her love to hairdressing. It was an easy transition because both are creative and inspiring industries. As with fashion, hair is so much an important part of our identity. It reflects our personality and can make us feel beautiful, confident and ready to take on the world.

Alanna specialises in colour, especially foiling and balayage and has been tending to the tresses of Glebe and Woollahra fashionistas for the last few years before joining the Wink! tribe.

Have you met Therese, our part time receptionist extraordinaire? She is one of the cheerful voices on the other end of the phone, a friendly face that greets you on arrival and will help you with all your appointment and retail needs.

Therese is also a fully qualified Senior Stylists so you may be lucky enough to encounter her for a blowdry, colour or keratin service if she is needed on the floor.

Takako is our Zen influence of the front desk. She has a vast experience in the hair and beauty world having previously managed a clinic.

As a qualified therapist, she undrestands the wants and needs of our guests.
